Our extensive menus consist of a wide variety of wholesome traditional food which is all made fresh to order and prepared using only the finest local quality ingredients ensuring that our customers return time after time to enjoy our food. The Malt Shovel is well known in the area for the quality of it's food and its traditional Sunday lunches which change every week.  We do get very busy at times so to avoid disappointment, it is strongly advised that you book a table in advance. All our food is homemade so we can cater for special dietary requirements such as gluten-free meals for celiacs and meat-free meals for vegetarians.
